We are happy to announce the recent acquisition of the art and archives from the Famous Artists School in Westport, Connecticut, nearly doubling the Museum's collections. This major gift comprises more than 5,000 un-catalogued artworks,

The Shakers Sunday, March 15, 5 p.m. Explore the cultural contributions of the Shakers, from the 1700's to the present day with author/historian Sharon Koomler. Her book, Shaker Style, provides an essential look at Shaker form and function. Presented in partnership with the Shaker Museum and Library in Mount Lebanon, NY. A book signing will follow. $10, $6 Museum members; $5 for children 12 and under; free with Museum admission before 5 p.m.
Courage: A Collaborative Community Performance Friday, March 28, 2:30 p.m. Join singer-songwriter JoAnne Spies for an interactive community performance and guided tour of Norman Rockwell Museum, featuring songs, poems and stories on the theme of courage. The program is being held in conjunction with the Berkshire Festival of Women Writers. Free.
