Lighting Design for Animated Films

Meet Blue Sky Studios' Lighting Supervisor Jim Gettinger, who will discuss lighting and lighting design as it pertains to the overall aesthetic of the studio's latest animated hit, Rio. Gettinger will highlight the artistic and technical challenges the studio faced in developing a stylized vision of the Rio de Janeiro, and believable characters using Blue Sky Studios' groundbreaking, proprietary photo-realistic software, CGI Studio. Free for members, or with Museum admission.
