2011-2012 National Artist Laureate David Macaulay

Norman Rockwell Museum honored illustrator David Macaulay, Norman Rockwell Museum's 2011-2012 National Artist Laureate, during a special award dinner Saturday, September 24.

During the ceremony, Mr. Macaulay provided a thrilling inside look at the process of creating Built to Last, an acclaimed new book that looks back on three of his most beloved works. Recently released in an impressive single volume, Castle, Cathedral, and Mosque have been revised by the artist based upon significant new research.
