Urban Sketchers:
A Drawing Class for Teens and
Pre-Teens
Monday, July 16 – Friday, July 20
10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Young artists will enjoy this immersive program designed to inspire creativity and advance observational and drawing skills. Illustrator Patrick O’Donnell will acquaint students with drawing techniques employed by America’s most popular illustrators, with an emphasis on sketching and direct drawing from life, in the classroom, galleries, and out-of-doors. A supply list will be provided. This program is recommended for ages 12 and up. $230; $195 members.

Land Acknowledgement

It is with gratitude and humility that we acknowledge that we are learning, speaking and gathering on the ancestral homelands of the Mohican people, who are the indigenous peoples of this land on which the Norman Rockwell Museum was built. Despite tremendous hardship in being forced from here, today their community resides in Wisconsin and is known as the Stockbridge-Munsee Community. We pay honor and respect to their ancestors past and present as we commit to building a more inclusive and equitable space for all.
