And how has the Lincoln Memorial achieved immortality in American art, iconography, history, and tradition?

Members are invited to celebrate the opening of Imprinted: Illustrating Race during a special “Members Only Hour” from 9-10 AM. Meet the curators of the exhibit at 9:30 AM.
As a member, you receive this preferred access to see the exhibition before the Museum opens to the general public.  If you would prefer, come anytime on Saturday to see the exhibition and receive an Appreciation Gift as recognition of how much you mean to the Museum we all love.

Meet illustrator Kadir Nelson, whose exhibition is currently on view, for a book signing.  Included with Museum admission, free for kids, teens, and members. Reservations are now closed.

Books may be pre-ordered at time of reservation to guarantee availability; payment required at book signing. Maximum of two books per household for signature, please. Mr. Nelson will do his very best to sign books with personal inscriptions. Hand-signed bookplates may be provided for personal book copies and as an alternative.
