Join us for the third annual Art of Brewing Festival on August 21st.  Spend an afternoon sampling some of the best local brews and local food. Be inspired by illustration art in the galleries and on the beer cans!

Participants receive ten sample pours and a souvenir pint glass.  Purchase food from some of the best local food truck vendors, view current and past label art from the brewers, and see the summer’s featured exhibits in the galleries during the day.  There will be music, lawn games and fun.  You’ll get inspired by illustrations found on everyday objects – like beer cans!

Members Only Exhibition Preview – Imprinted: Illustrating Race

Members are invited to celebrate the opening of Imprinted: Illustrating Race during a special “Members Only Hour” from 9-10 AM. Meet the curators of the exhibit at 9:30 AM.
As a member, you receive this preferred access to see the exhibition before the Museum opens to the general public.  If you would prefer, come anytime on Saturday to see the exhibition and receive an Appreciation Gift as recognition of how much you mean to the Museum we all love.

Celebrate the U.S. premiere of Anita Kunz’s exhibition Anita Kunz: Original Sisters Portraits of Tenacity and Courage with the artist and a panel of her creative collaborators, including Writer/Designer Chip Kidd, and NRM Curator Jane Dini for a conversation entitled “Anita Kunz: The Art of Collaboration.” The discussion will explore Kunz’s motivations for embarking upon her the project during the pandemic and how it was shaped by her friendship and collaboration with other artists. The conversation will be followed by a reception; signed books will be available in the Museum Store.

It is with gratitude and humility that we acknowledge that we are learning, speaking and gathering on the ancestral homelands of the Mohican people, who are the indigenous peoples of this land on which the Norman Rockwell Museum was built. Despite tremendous hardship in being forced from here, today their community resides in Wisconsin and is known as the Stockbridge-Munsee Community. We pay honor and respect to their ancestors past and present as we commit to building a more inclusive and equitable space for all.
