Andy, Edie, and the Sedgwicks of Stockbridge

Edie Sedgwick was an American heiress, actress, and fashion model who is perhaps best known as one of Andy Warhol’s superstars. She starred in several of Warhol’s short films and was dubbed an “It Girl,” named by Vogue as a “Youthquaker” in the 1960s. Paul Ginocchio, a Sedgwick family member, will discuss his well-known relation as well as the long history of his ancestors in Stockbridge, including Theodore Sedgwick, born in 1746, and a an array of gifted and colorful individuals.
