Thanks to everyone who joined us for the opening of our new exhibition, Mac Conner: A New York Life. In addition to many stylish Mad Men and Women, it was an honor to welcome Mac Conner himself. The 102 1/2-year-old artist seemed to have a grand time, and took time to meet with our many members and friends in attendance. In his words, “Norman Rockwell was a great inspiration for me.”

The Museum also celebrated the new exhibition with Mad for Mac, a retro soiree held at Pittsfield’s Hotel on North on the evening of March 16. Guests enjoyed throwback martinis and manhattans and finger foods, prepared by the hotel’s Executive Chef Brian Albert. Special thanks to Alberg and all the staff at Hotel on North for hosting, as well as our generous sponsors: Boyd Technologies, Carr Hardware, Unistress, and Bob & Lynne Horvath.

Mac Conner: A New York Life is on view at the Museum through June 5, 2016.
