Purchase Book: Faithful Friends

In collaboration with Norman Rockwell Museum, author Margaret Rockwell celebrates the release of her new book, Faithful Friends: Norman Rockwell and His Dogs, with an illustrated talk, Q&A, and book signing. Throughout Rockwell’s career, strays, neighborhood pets, and his own loyal companions played leading roles in his visual storytelling as muses, as models, and as messengers of emotion. Be among the first to learn more!

Margaret Rockwell, the artist’s granddaughter by marriage and Manager of the Norman Rockwell Family Agency, has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a PhD in history. Previous titles include A Norman Rockwell Christmas and Norman Rockwell’s Growing Up in America.

Land Acknowledgement

It is with gratitude and humility that we acknowledge that we are learning, speaking and gathering on the ancestral homelands of the Mohican people, who are the indigenous peoples of this land on which the Norman Rockwell Museum was built. Despite tremendous hardship in being forced from here, today their community resides in Wisconsin and is known as the Stockbridge-Munsee Community. We pay honor and respect to their ancestors past and present as we commit to building a more inclusive and equitable space for all.
