Looking for inspiration? Explore the dynamic world of mixed media art during this two-day workshop with accomplished artist/author/educator Lisa L. Cyr. Demonstrations and hands-on experiences in two and three dimensions will offer an array of exciting possibilities for artists at all levels to explore. Employing alternative working grounds; using altered, repurposed and custom tools; toning the painting surface in imaginative ways; building visual architecture; and utilizing innovative mixed media techniques to create intriguing effects are among the possibilities to be explored. The class will inspire artists to honor and nurture the creative spirit within, develop personal content, and embrace a multidisciplinary mindset.

Lisa Cyr is an artist who writes for many of the creative industry’s leading publications and has authored seven books on art and design, including Experimental Painting and Art Revolution. She also teaches in several of the nation’s top illustration graduate programs. $125; $95 members.
